Hi Folks, I have been very busy these last two months from traveling to Maine, back to Lexington, Ky. [Three times] up to Toledo, Ohio [twice] ,back down to Louisville, Ky. ,all talking about the joy and passion of raising American Lamb. Today I really want to talk about my trip to the Maine Sheep Convention and the people that I met there. It was great to spend the day meeting sheep and goat producers that are using sustainability farming in their operation. Not only do they raise their animals for meat to feed their family, friends, and neighbors, but to use the fiber to create apparel to keep them cool in the summer or warm in those cold Maine winters, but keeping their farming environment, just as green and fresh as it was when it was handed down to them from generation to generation, and then on top of all trying to make some profit in order to keep the family farm intact for their children to take over down the road.Lastly I wanted to give a big thank you again to my host family, Lisa and Phil Webster from...
